“The Lily of the Valley” tells a love story that spans two cities and three generations. The granddaughter who is longing for true love and her forceful single mother cannot accept the remarriage of their widowed grandma. Can three generations untie the knots of the heart through a sincere dialogue?

Jointly produced by Actors’ Family and Guangzhou Opera House, the musical premiered in Guangzhou in 2017 and had toured in ten cities in mainland China. The production was nominated for “Best Original Musical” at the 4 th Chinese Theatre Awards.
