工作坊簡介(英文)
This workshop will enable the students to experience moments of rare theatre intensity.
Behind the mask and thanks to it they will reveal their own personality and bring to life extraordinary characters and unforgettable adventures.
We shall use handmade wooden masks made by Etienne Champion, creator of the “empty mask” and modern masks as well as Commedia dell’Arte masks by Den and Piero Zuma.
Contents:
-Different mask techniques will be developed with a particular focus on collective creation.
-The Neutral Mask or “empty mask” will allow us to find The Balance: the study of the architecture of our body and our space.
-We will learn how to breathe, to move, to look, to listen and to accept our own mistakes.
-We will work on our Relationship towards others; essentially the chorus
-Character Mask: how to bring to life a Character.
-Going from The Balance to the Unbalance, to create somebody different.
-Mask / unmasks: in order to unveil what is hidden in us, revealing our fantasies and our imagination
-The body, sculpted and stylized as in dance.
-Collective Movement: Improvisation in a collective way.
-Focus on the protagonist and the chorus, inspired from the Greek Theater
-Interaction between the protagonist and the chorus.
-Concept of “The Köken”, or “stage hands” also inspired from the Noh Theater.
